BALI TRIP

What a short 3D2N trip to Bali. Before I could tan myself further, I was back to Singapore yesterday evening. Trip kakis include Xinghui, Jiahui, Danlin, Marvin, Weetze & Dennis.

Day 1

Slow lazing day. The transit at Jakarta wasted half a day before we reached Bali. Check into Hard Rock Hotel at ard 1pm and met up with Dennis' guide friend, Koman, to discuss day 2 itinerary. Afterwhich we explored Kuta beach - nothing much there, only plenty of surfers. We hit the pool later and had a wonderous Balinese massage in the hotel.

Pubbing at night in the hotel. There's a popular rock band playing at the pub every night. The male lead has superb vocal which could rock the hell out of you.

Day 2

Tanah Lot temple. One of the 6 holy national temples in Bali. Suspended on a huge rock offshore which was carved by incoming tide, the beautiful snake-sea temple has over centuries of history. Was a pity that we did not manage to get to the temple due to high tide.

Nusa Dua Beach. The best beach for sea sports. Had fun with the banana boat ride and Para-sailing. Cool cool cool.

Dreamland. The sea is so blue. and lotta surfers.

Uluwatu. Spectacular spot for viewing sunset. Uluwatu is populated with monkeys. We had to wrap a sarong before we could walk uphill to the temple area as we were too skimpily dressed. The monkeys seemed to be well trained for stealing ... poor Weetze, his specs were kena stolen right before his eyes. The Keeper (there were many keepers ard) would then trade food with the monkey to get back the specs for the him. Weetze had to pay a gratitude sum of money to the keeper in order to take back his specs. We had also witnessed many other tourists whose hairclips, specs etc were stolen.

Jimbaran Beach. Well-known beach for its seafood. Not cheap and the food is not nice at all. A place to kutok tourists. But I did enjoy the ambience. Dining by the beach is cool, nice breeze, with acoustic band perfomance and fireworks right before our eyes.

Day 3

Beach Volley @ Man-made Beach in Hard Rock.

Shopping at Kuta. We walked around Kuta Square and the market place. The market is so big... we only managed to cover half. Me and Xinghui had great time haggling for a good price. We are a great tag team with planned strategies before we undercut the sellers. We bought super comfy slippers at less than SGD3, sourvenirs from range SGD0.50 - SGD3. hiak hiak...even better rate than Bangkok. We did our manicure(without nail color polish) at only 50,000rp = SGD7. Damn cheap with satisfactory service (arm scrub inclusive)!!

It is a shame that we did not manage to visit Kintamani - famous for its paranoma Batur lake and active volcano.

The KFC in Bali is really Finger Linkin' Good. Much much much better than the KFC in Singapore. The crispy chicken is tasty and not oily at all. Their set meal is usually accompanied with rice ball to make it a complete meal.

Supposed to go Bali for rest and relax, yet it ended up to be a rush trip. We were ambitious to squeeze too many events in a day as there are too many places we wanted to visit (Singaporean mindset - must make sure every cent we spend is worthwhile). Felt so drained after the trip thou is just a short 3D2N and the purpose - R&R is not achieved.

Should go to Tioman, Redang or Phuket next time where there's nothing much to shop and not many places of interest to visit so that can purely concentrate on sun-bathing, seasports and chill out at a slower pace.

Bday Clashes with CNY

What a clash again...it happens at least once in every 5years. No mood for celebration. This year is really a dull year to start off with. The bad economy destroys the festive mood totally.

But I am blessed to have a bunch of good old friends to celebrate with before the actual and a wonderful boss who surprised me with Ice Cream Cake and Angbaoz today. Am really thankful to those who texted me well wishes when the clock strikes 12.

During the younger days, we used to look forward to tonnes of pressies and surprises on our birthday. But as we mature, presents are unimportant anymore , partly due to people always buy the wrong thing and end up accumulating more white elephants at home. Not sure if it applies to many people out there, but I can afford to pamper myself with anything and if I can't, then that thing must be super expensive or luxurious to have which I would prefer to earn it myself. More satisfaction. **grin

So the best present is still to receive wishes from my close friends/best friends..it shows that they still remember my significant day and treasures our friendships. I m grateful to have received those from my best friend from Sec, JC, Uni, Ex-colleagues and Colleagues. v(^o^)v

Macau Trip

Planned Hanoi trip is abandoned due to the flood. Had a hard time coordinating the change, THANKS to Tiger Airway for all the troubles for flight amendment. Gonna make me think twice to travel with budget airline next time. I had to make my trip down to airport yesterday to make the change. phewz...And an over budget trip too. But most importantly is to get out of Singapore. So vexed up with work recently. Need a break...a long long break.

5D4N to Macau - HK from 26th Nov to 30th Nov. I really have to watch my spending this time..hahaha. So happy to travel to HK again. Twice in a year. Yipee..but the primarily is Macau and Venetian. Feel so good to be able to travel around, good to have the spending power to do what I like and is even better to have a group of good company with me.

This time round I will be travelling with my Secondary School friends. And is the 2nd time travelling with them (Liming, Wee Tze, Marvin). Am glad that we are able to keep to our promises i.e. to travel together once every year. We shall keep this tradition going..yoohhoo. Thou is still the 4 of us, I believe our team will expand in time to come =))

Spent half of the day to do cleaning up yesterday. Wanna to throw away as much as possible but in the end, I kept more than I threw.

Came across a big card board ‘梦想板’- Dream Board. Luffed at the goals that I set 3 years ago. To be an influential speaker and earn 1bil by end of 2008!! LOL..LOL..LOL... Really luffing my ass off. How ignorant and impractical.

At the back of the Board is a motivation message in Chinese...only meaningful if you really put into practice.

Selamat Hari Raya

Busy hell of the week...Mon & Tue was tied down with audit. The project which I had followed up for a year, has finally come to an end. Like final year examination, my team was well-prepared and passed the audit smoothly v(^.^)v

My god-mum finally came back from her biz trip on Tue. She bought me a Mickey pen and a mini Milo Tee. So sweet. Thanks mum. =)

Jay is going to launched his new album- 魔杰座 - Magician Vs Clown theme, soon. Wee wee..I spent the whole night yesterday listening to his album online, hmm hmm..dont really like this new album as compared to his previous ones, the tunes are less catchy this time round. Similar to his previous albums, there's a mix of rap, cheena but less of sentimental songs this time. There's also a new unfamiliar clowny tuned song to fit into new theme, cute song.. Nonetheless, Jay still rulez. He never fails to surprise his fans with his creativity in song composing and all his albums are tailored to a special theme.

Sushi Tei dinner with CK on Fri and watched The Chaser - Korean Thriller Movie. Great movie, it shows how inefficient the Korean police is..hahaha. The Chaser -Mr. Pimp who finds his girls went missing mysteriously, thinking that someone might have sold them away, however dawn to him that they were all killed by this Mr. Pyschotic impotent killer, killing women with chisel and hammer. He was trying to save the very last girl whom he had arranged to meet up with the pyscho...did he succeed or not...?? watch it yourself..hiak hiak.

Yesterday was a sucky day to start off with. Had happily planned for my mani-pedi and while I was on the way to town..this stupid aunty tore my tube top. Hell irritating, the train was not that packed and I was standing in the middle not blocking her fat ass. Buay Tahan this kindda old aunty...always in a rush..as if there is a seat for her ass to rest on. Dunno why she edging so hastily for.. there is no man after her...stupid ugly fat old Singaporean. Her bag zipper hooked onto my top..well i dunno that it got stucked until her smelly fat hand gave a jerk on my top. Damn her ..not even a word of apology..as if is my fault to get her brandless ugly bag's zipper hooked on my top. I hate u Aunty...ugly Singaporean...Uncultured Fat Ass, Poor Make-up...NB NB NB NB NB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New Hairstyle

Bye Bye Curls...

Finally straightened up my 2 months old curly locks. Cost me a bomb to straighten > Treatment > Color > Highlight > Intense Treatment. Sat four long hours in the salon...ZzzZ..but am very pleased with the coloring. Purple Black base color with Violet Red highlight. v(o.o)v ..Nice! The dark black base makes my hair looks healthier and it gives a purple shines under light..hee. Simply lovely... a worthy bomb $$.

Musical Movie simply Mama Mia~~

Just came back from Mama Mia movie. A hilarious musical movie i would say. Storyline is a bit lame but the songs are perfertly great. Pierce Brosnan is damn charming and charismatic in the pic. And Amanda Seyfried is so sweet and her vocal is good.

Had watched a couple of musical movies before..Dreamgirls - Beyonce and Jennifer Hudson were really competing with their power de mama vocal chords throughout the show. But I still prefer Moulin Rouge, great play by Nicole Kidman and Ewan Mcgregor, funny romantic and touching musical. Moulin Rouge has the best soundtrack of all. Anyone who watched it, will never forget their funny Medley and Come What May... 2 thumbs up!

Fun filled Day @ ECP 200809

Been wanting to go beach for so long and finally materialised it yesterday. Ying is the organiser and i called along my dearest ah huai (cousin), sis and alvin. The sea breeze is so refreshing and energizing. We were already sweating and thirsty when we reached Area C.

Met up MH(ex colleague) for dinner at the famous authentic Jap style buffet restaurant @ Jurong Point today. Wanna go to Suntec branch initially but the reservation is full. I was informed that for Ladies' night (that's their every Wed promotion), the tables are all reserved and have to book 2 weeks in advance. Gossh!! they are so popular...

Thou I have been to Jurong Point many times, I didnt know that Kuishin-bo has a branch there until I checked out their webpage. And today was the 1st time I went down to Jurong Pt basement (cuz that's where the restaurant is located)..yayaya..I heard people screaming at how 'sua ku' I am. Well, there's a Japanese Food Street at the B1 and is almost monopolised by RE&S Group of restaurants. You can find Ichiban Sushi, Kuinshin-bo and Kuriya Japanese Fresh Fish Market.

EVADER - PURSUER - NORM??

What kind are you? An evader or a pursuer? U like to shun away from problems? Give excuses when problem arises? Or face it like a Man? Avoiding questions that you dun like to answer? = Evader.

But of cuz..we are all made up of Both. All of us are evader and pursuer at the same time. We prefers to pursue for happiness and shun things we dun feel like facing it, regardless is at work or in a relationship. A crack in a relationship is always a result of pull and push factors - pull=temptations from the environment, push=current partner is becoming a pain in the ass to you. So if the right temptation sets in...Bingo! Say 'bye bye' to ya partner.

Is typical of any man/woman to pursue for such pleasures than continuing a relationship which they find it painful to carry on. And is common to find the so-called 'third parties' lingering/hovering around. And SO is becoming a norm for all these men/women to move on with new pleasures before having a clear cut with their current partners in the 1st place. (In case some senseless Cow going to comment on this again, I am just stating a matter of fact, not to argue if is right or wrong).

Situation usually arises whereby the 3rd party who is always ready to commit, get fooled in the end, cuz some men/women simply love to be showered with more love other than their regular partners. There is nothing wrong in loving Ms or Mr Number 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 5... at the same time, but how one deals with it does matter. Play smart and dun get caught. I said it is a NORM cuz similar episodes just keep happening around me, maybe this is just how this era of mankind deals with relationships.

Tagging names on people!!! Some cow just complained about my bad-mouthing on the "why old women love younger men, and why younger men prefer the older F-species". This is just a penny of my thought and opinion. Dont I have the right to say whatever I like in my own space..phews..-_-. I dont think I am bad-mouthing unless some guilty soul is unrest when chanced upon what I wrote. And I am being cursed for getting 10x worse treatment from the unforgiving ZZZ-generation..gosshh..(I will never taint my bloggie with all these curses).

What's wrong with tagging in the 1st place? Arent we all tagged with a name to put to our faces? You should find me lenient for not spelling your BIG FAT NAME here. Saying what goes around comes around..both hands and legs up on this statement. If some Cow didnt go around viewing and sarcastically remarked abt my good friend's blog, why would we even care to respond to such inferority remarks.!? Talking about lowering one's level, we did come down to the Cow's level.

So what being an Independent and Dyanmic woman in this New Age when one cant even accept people's opinons and remarks. So who is the inferior one here? ***Smirk

Met up with Jo at Sun Plaza late evening and had a hearty bitching session (once in a month routine). We can bitch about just anything under the sun and of cuz bitch about bitches who cross over our lines. (we are really good friends .. LS on the same day)

We were pondering about the type of girls that guys are radaring out for and concluded that young men love older women - more experienced, can give them a career boost, better sex? ermmz...and Older men love being pampered by young girls. Big Hahaha --> Older women love young men -- inexperienced especially those just stepped into society to work, easier to guide, easier to satisfy.

Back from Hong Kong. The 5 D trip passed super fast. Next year I will be going for 7D shopping spree at Hong Kong..hahahaha..will post on my purchases later. too tired to retrieve the pic out and waiting for ah leong's foto..(..'u are welcome' - stupid leong..i know u will say that).

Think my body is going to surrender soon..I worked till 12 am before my trip and rested little for 5D. This morning I could still wake up at 9plus to go market with mum..amazed**

Had a farewell lunch with my beloved interns. They are so sweet..gave me a card and a bouquet of teddies. Thank you gals..I can't imagine my office life without you peeps ard..alone in that cold cold room..no laughters no jokes no gossips...miss ya muchie

I ever asked myself..if Evon does not look like what she looks like now..does not speak like how she speaks now, does not have the mindset that she is having now.. then what would Evon become?.. or if I am just another person..looking at this Evon in this family, how would i think of her..? Environment does mould a person..it makes me to become what I am now..to do what I have to do now..to take on certain responsibilities which I dreaded.

We can't change the environment..we can only make the best out of it..what a cliche model answer. But yet..it is. We are just anybody else..following anybody else's footsteps everyday..doing what everyone is doing. A routine, a cycle, a race..

Night Safari

Bought the tickets from Han Travel @ AMK, just outside the MRT where they set up boards and signages to sell their Zoo package. We paid $32/pax, including free trspt to Night Safari, Entrance fee and Tram ride.

Haha..this was the most expensive ticket we ever bought. $128 for a piece of paper and initial. The boss did not have enough tickets to issue due to the good sales. Afraid that we would walk off without proper receipt, he guaranteed us that we would surely get our tickets as long as we produced the slip with his big signature there.

Finally reached and managed to catch a glimpse of the fire dancing performance outside the Chang restaurant & bar.

We proceeded with the Tram ride.. such a long long queue. It really surprised us with so many people around. The S-queue was long but lucky it was cleared pretty fast. Seems like night safari is attracting lottas of tourists.

The ride was smooth. We stopped by for some walking trails which cannot be reached by tram. Walked through the Leopard trail and Bat Mangrove. My sis had a great time enjoying the Bat Mangrove..Luff our ass out. She had been looking forward to meeting 'Batman' and ended up been scared by them throughout the Mangrove walk. The best part of the walk was that we chanced upon the otters mating. They are so cute and makes one happy to see them running and playing around. After the walk, we boarded on the tram smoothly (Was really smooth cuz that Leopard trail station usually had lottas pple waiting and the coming tram was usually too full to take on more pple).

The 45 min tram ride ended so fast (dunch think gt 45min). If we werent to alight for a walk on our own, we would feel so cheated. Managed to arrive at the start point in time for the last animal show..that's y we kept emphasing on how smooth it was. All the timing was just nice on the dot. Lucky day.

There's nothing much abt the show...but the Indian trainer/speaker is great. She is good at making fun of the audience and made us luff a lot. The best performer award should go to her instead of the animals..lol. Afterwhich, our vanity started to surface again..took lots of pics..

Free make over doesnt turn out to be that good... not so professional and they made me look like a Malay =~~(. The make-up base was too dark and my eye make-up was so heavy. Maybe cuz I hadnt been putting up make up for a long time..so not used to it.

Finally met up with Veron and together with CK, we had our dinner at Shokudo on Wed. Yah is Jap food again!!! As usual, there will always be a queue (if u refer to my previous entry..u will know how bloody long the queue is) but luckily not that long compared to weekend. Looking forward to this dinner cuz pple ard me have been singing praises abt Shokudo...yumz yumz.

This Marche-Jap concept store attracts mainly PMEBs and family crowd. Took a walk around the whole restaurant..there are many sittings (over 100s) but all fully occupied, interior design is simple, food smells great and alluring.

We tried omelette (bacon & cheese), salmon sashimi, ebi pizza, tepanyaki, desserts. Of all the dishes, desserts scored the highest point. The rest sucks...esp. the Tepanyaki. Jap pizza is only special for their super thin crust but quality so-so. Sashimi is the worst, any Jap restaurant can serve better sashimi.

1 word. ...disappointing. The only attractive point is the wide variety of food but the quality is doubtful. Shokudo is only selling concept not food. Even the ambience is no good..noisy ..furthermore gt children playground which makes it more like a market place. Or I should say an upscale hawker centre.

I am a super fastfood & Jap food lover...friends who know me, read this blog..will be nodding their heads in disapproval. Ask my dearest ex-colleagues..the big 'M' is my good friend. Every lunch break, I would ask them if they would like something fast or slow and they would end up compromising with my cravings. If we were to meet up for shopping or just simply for dinner, I would definitely suggest Jap food. (what's new huh?!! Lolz)

I am hooked on this unhealthy diet unknowingly. I can patronise the fast food outlets 4 times a week. MCDONALD, MOS Burger, BK, Long John and even PASTAMANIA..n continually eating the same food over n over again within the week. Think my digestive sys gonna break dwn soon.

Last week, I ate Jap foodx4 almost in a row. I had Waraku on Tue, Ichiban on Wed, Yoshinoya (semi jap-fast food) on Thu & Sushi Tei on Sat. The week before that, I had fast food x?? in a week. Long John on Tue, Long John on Wed, Cavana on Thu..MOS on Sat and MCDonald for supper. (*sweatz)

Today's lunch was kicked off with McSpicy meal..Keeping my fingers crossed that the next few days wont be fast food else will suffer from carbo-overdosal ..geez..

1st time with CK

Met up with CK yesterday for dinner @ Marina Square Waraku. It was my 1st time trying out Waraku... they serve many different types of ala-carte dishes. Too many to choose from ..in the end we only ordered 3 ala carte and ramen/soba as our main. (Thank u CK for the treat!)

Waraku's pricing is comparable with Sushi Tei but the food served at both places varies. Both are equally premium, as mentioned, Waraku has more ala-carte dishes like hotplate kinda and Sushi Tei serves more rice and sushi based food.

My most preferred restaurant for Jap food is still Sushi Tei =)) If you are planning to eat there, you should try their 2-thumbs-up dishes --> Deep fried squid (It melts in ya mouth), Golden Roll ( Mango & Lobster is a finger-linking gd combi) & Salmon Belly Sushi.

After the dinner, we proceeded to Gloria Jean's..This is again my 1st time trying out the coffee there. We ordered 2 Latte Mocha & a Oreo Cheese cake (Cheese CAke @1/2 price after 6pm). The cheese cake is yummy. But the coffee was so-so. I would still prefers coffee bean & coffee club.

We yada-yada until 10pm... waiting for dear Veron to join us for our next meeting. Veron flew us kite yesterday due to her work commitment. Btw Veron..I still mistaken CK for his age..always tot he is 1 year older than his current age.Remember last year we mistook him for 27 when he is only 26. I did it again. Luff. In the midst of our conversation, I was saying ' ..but you are 28 this year rites..' then CK shot me a duh look. And keep defending that he is only 27 niahz. hahahaha...

Oh..Forget to introduce..Veron & CK are my ex-part time colleagues turned friends. Lolz..amazing huh..we only worked together once or twice at some food fair/road show during our tietiary studies and we are keeping in touch till now. Geez...

Coming towards Mid of the year, I think is time to start digging out all my friend list and planning for more meet-ups ahead.

Finally get out of house today.

Been to MIND Cafe today with Vic, Jo & Sis..Super fun lar..we played 3 different games in 2.5hrs.

Jo left after the game.. the 3 of us decided to proceed to Shokudo for dinner. If you have not heard of it, Shokudo is a Marche- concept- Japanese Restaurant. It is a new restaurant in town, located at b1-44 of Raffles City Shopping Centre..and is attracting damn lottas of people.

Look at this..Is crazy lor...I have never seen such a long queue before..Is the food really nice?!!

And of cuz we wun join the fun .. walked over to Marina Square for Spaggedies. Their vongole is superb. =P Yummyz...

Our activities did not stop here. We went back to Sun Plaza and rented 3 vcds to watch overnight. Had finished Bullets and Brains.. Coming next will be Number 23 and KungFu Dunk =)

Just completed reading "Absolute Boyfriend"..well..in a day (considering I am missing out the chance to read during work). Is a great story for gals who like to fantasize (come on..that's what comics is for right..interestingly unrealistic).

"AB" narrates abt this gal who buys a robotic BF from a futuristic company and she can input whatever personality traits she is looking for before ordering. So is like constructing your own Ideal BF. And of cuz..no one is ideal in this world so you can expect the ending is not a happy one. But nonetheless..it is a great manga, funny rommance...read it and be touched by what an ideal guy can fulfil but by not your real BF. lolz...

For the past few days, my family and I have felt Doggie's presence. We still behave as if Doggie is with us..still call out to him when we are going out or coming home, place water and food at his usual eating place. My sis bought a 七仔 softie for Doggie to keep him company too.

Doggie's urn was returned to us this afternoon. It was beautifully framed up with Doggie's photo. The urn is so cool and the touch is so real that it once again reminded me that Doggie had left us.

Yesterday Doggie was able to eat by himself..at least half a can of food. Sis and I were so delighted...

When everything seems to be better, his fit relapses again. This morning Doggie started yelping and howling from 5am to 9 am...he is in pain..but we dont know how to handle and the clinic only opens at 9am. Felt so helpless..thou we have tried our best to soothe him.

The doc gave him a jab to calm him down...his breathing is hard and sometimes weak.

Feel super lethagic and hopeless...there's nothing we can do but to walk the last journey with him.

I suggested to bring Doggie home instead of putting him to sleep and daddy approved... Doggie must have missed us badly..is better to let him leave peacefully with us by his side.

...Had checked with the doc on the necessary medication to purchase and how to take care of him...DOggie still have to be put on drip...

Visited Doggie today...his situation gets worse..the medication is not working on him anymore and his muscles are tensed and stiffed.

Tried calling him and talked to him..he seems to response and his eyes twitched. He tried very hard and moved his tail once or twice. He can sense us visiting but the medication makes him weak...he must be in pain..too painful to cry out. I saw him trembling occasionally..he must be scared.

Told my parents that his revival rate is low...the doc has advised to put him to sleep if there is no improvement...that brought us to tears. My whole family broke down today...this is the first time seeing my parents tearing so badly. They missed him badly...

Received an urgent call ard 3pm from my dad asking me to rush home...I knew thing wasn't right. Dad said doggie is dying...I put dwn my job..took UL and rushed home...I weeped along the way. Am shocked to see Doggie stiffen up and grasping for breath. Immediately, I gt a cab and bring Doggie to the nearest clinic.

What appears drama to my sis was me shouting at the clinic attendants that Doggie is dying and without registering(the attendants were still trying to react), I forced through the doctor's room. The doc slowly edged into room. After examination, he declared that Doggie is suffering from seizures and need to be hospitalised to monitor his conditions. He might and might not be able make it this time round. It seems rather serious..sobzz.=:::(

Have never seen Doggie suffering from such a bad illness before. Is it a dying symptom?? Ever since we put him up at the pet hotel for a period of 5-days during CNY period(my dad lar...kie kiang..go and book cruise trip for the all of us), his behavior becomes more and more abnorm.

1st, he starts shitting and urinating ard..then he keeps drinking water..is excessive!! after that he begins to lose control of his bowels. Haiz...is our mistake to leave him in the hands of others and maybe due to old age. Poor boy.=(

This is my 1st time counting down to New Year with a bunch of good old friends. We watched the AVP2- suckies show of the year, and strolled from bugis to esplanade, enjoying the cool breeze. Well, the joke of the day was Dennis being labelled as "Robert", wahaha..but this irritating "Robert" won all my $$ during the following day mahjong..&!@**###. Really &^$(#Q).

Was damn packed at esplanade lar...as usual a lot of banglahz looming ard. Managed to catch the full 8min of fireworks..not very fantastic thou, Taiwan 101 was better. Dunch understand y all the ah bangz screamed like hell when they saw it and would start spraying the leftover foam from x'mas at just anyone on the street. They really got nothing better to do manz...

My good old friends actually captured very nice firework video and pix..still waiting for them to upload..Ello..now is 4th liaoz..are u gonna wait for the coming new year then will upload? ..=P.lol.

New year resolutions>> Lol..every new year resolutions seem to be unachievable...but still is good to make some plans for this Mickey year.

1) Cut down on Mahjong session..lol(Think this Mickey year is not good for Me..but will cut dwn after the CNY 15th)

2) Get a driving licence. (Auto will do..faster and easier to get)

3) See no Doc! (Must maintain good health with zero clinic visiting records)

Changi Airport T3 is a magnificant infrastructure. A green building with an all- glass facade. Cool~ It will be officially opened on 9th Jan 2008. So peeps, dun waste ya trip going there now thou is opened to public till 9th Dec, cuz there is nothing much to see.. most of the shops are still under renovation.

Some F & B outlets are ready for opening and out of these outlets, TCC really impresses me of its classy and gothic design.

Simple design with good blend of colors - red, white and black.

Finally managed to find time to update bloggie...and finally able to get some time off for a short trip with my 老朋友s to Genting. This is my first time travelling up there..山龟. And this will be my 1st and last time to Genting cuz the ride is too long and time wasting.
Thanks to Liming's mum, we are able to make our trip to Genting at a very low rate and not forgetting the wonderful treats. 谢谢auntie.

Been to a derma clinic in bedok for face treatment. Yesterday was my 3rd treatment in a month. However progress was slow and the burnt marks caused by the 1st IPL treatment is still there.

Daze look. Just woke up from nap.

Hi everybody, Doggie Liew will do the blogging today. I am close to 12 years old(human calendar). Very old right.. In fact I am much older than many of the young chaps out there (cuz dog's age is mutiple of 7 each year). Thus I am by right, nearing 84 years old this year.

And I have the 俗est name on earth - "Doggie", "Ah Gou", "Gou Gou".. Wah kaoz, that's what all dogs are called. Thanks to my uncreative owners. How am I going to face my dog community?!! sobz. I pay it back by not learning many tricks to please my owners. Only learnt those to my advantages - automatically bite my leash to the doorstep everytime I need to relieve/when owner is in good mood to bring me for walk, lied in dead dog position to act cute, stick closely to my owners when I feel hungry. Other than that, I just hide at my favor corner to sleep.

I have temper too.. If you step on my tail, I will make sure your property is stained with my pee. *evil grins.

Cant wait to get out.

Been There, Fought There

The war started from last Fri 7/07 - Mon 9/07 from as early as 5.21am at Gombak MRT station.

Challenges set in the very moment in recruitment. No soldier wanted to fight this war with me initially. Luckily I had my source and recruited 3 Myammar warriors to be my 1st line of defence.

Finally gotten my own work desk. Have the desire for personal work desk since my previous job (was deprived then).

Was excited initially...My department isnt that big so me and other managers are being assigned the office downstair. Solely for my department. Quite empty at the desks still...lack of life and vibrancy in the office. Kindda lonely as well...cuz all of us are always on the GO. No one will hang around in the office too often.

Small bahz...only 5 tables in all. My management team is fun (well in the sense that all the elders are humorous and jokeful) but still feel something is lacking...loneliness still sunk in. They are always running chicken w/o head. No time for more chitter chatter or is it because of the generation gap?!!

That's mine. Don't think I will have the time to decor it. Just trying my best not to mess it up further.

Kicking off with my job training at Select. Was following my managers to different Lerk Thai Outlets and foodcourt to understand the basic operations of each department.

Much of my time was spent at Lerk Thai. Had tried out couple of the dishes there and I have great likings for the appetitizers. Is simply just too mama-mia.

1) Vietnamese Spring Roll*****

- Is very much different from the ones I ate in Vietnam.

- I prefer the ones at Lerk Thai, very soft rice paper with vermicelli and prawns.

- Non-oily. Definitely is the healthier choice.

2) Khao Tang Na Tang****

- Is very crispy and the sauce is tasty.

3) Yam Som O****

- Is a unique dish I ever come across. Appetizing indeed.

- The pomelo is sourish but it blends well with the chilli bits.

4) Tawd Man Kung****

- My favorite Prawn is the main lead in this dish.

- Fresh and handmade from the kitchen.

- Is better than the Ebi rice burger (the Ebi cake filling) from Mos Burger.

5) Miang Indo*****

- I just love this appetizer.

- Minced chicken with water crest wrap in Cabbage.

- U just cant stop munching.

Tom Yam soup is more sourish than spicy with fresh seafood. =P

I am not a dessert lover but i can say that this tapioca dessert is mouth-watering.
The sweetness is just nice with the touch of the coconut fragrance.

Have not had the chance to try out the main dishes yet. Soon i supposed..Lolz.

Finally the long awaiting Sec Sch outing had materialised. Is an annual event and the star is always our Indonesian friend, Harrys. Thou our Sec Sch clique only meet up once or twice a year, we are all very closely bonded. And Harrys will always make it a point to come back to Singapore to visit us ever year, without fail.

Thanks to our efficient organiser, Marvin, the whole gathering turned out to be rather successful. Thanks for taking the effort to organise. =)

Started with the Transformer movie at Bugis. This pic is just too fantastic. The digital effects are good and impressive. Really worth the weekend ticket price. Afterwhich we had our lunch and continued KTV session at a $10-nett KTV lounge @ Chinatown. Is very cheap considering unlimited free flow of drinks completed with a bowl of shark fins at the end of the session, updated songs and for 5-hr duration. The only bad point is with the song selection. Maybe I am used to K-box and party world, find it not very user-friendly even thou they have touched screen for songs selection.

I left the clique and met up with my ex-colleagues, Jac and Melissa for dinner and bitching session. Dinner at Sushi-Tei was satisfying. Food is great. However we had bitched for way too long till almost 2am, was comtemplating to join my Sec sch gathering for drink after that but in the end, had settled down at Esplanade for drinks and Yak-ing session.

Bought a new Hp (eh..old model lar..Sony Ericssion K800i, budget constrained) to replace the dying one, ate sushi again and daily pdts. Think for the past 2 days I had wiped out almost $450 ^_^'''.

Haiz...I still have quite a number of things on my shopping list. Muz get some windfall to cover such expenditure. Muahahaz...maybe is time to jio kakis for MJ..

The Mum Mum Queen is Back

Hasnt been blogging for quite some time... Today is my 3rd day at Select Catering Limited. Heard from my boss that I might be attached to Food Management Division...Whoohooo. So most likely will be in Marketing or Business Development.

Went ard with my Marketing Manager to Lerk Thai Restaurants/Outlets and tried out some of their signature dishes. Is yummy...especially the Prawn Cake and the Tapioca Desert. PLum Juice is my favourite drink. The food there is less oily and more authentic. v(^o^)v

This 6 months of training is gonna be a tough one for me. With no experience and background, I have to start from square 1. Really looking forward to picking up new things everyday.

My previous 1 week break was fruitless. Besides nuahing at home, I was mapling the whole day

for the whole week.

Left my current work on F, 15/06. Was sad to leave my fellow colleagues...and Lala made me cry. (T.T)

My farewell party actually started on W, 13/06 with my team and we had our dinner at Riverside Indonesian Seafood Restaurant. (Well, the food was so-so...the avacado desert was eeekkk and was making us green like Shrek.)

We moved on to Brewerks and well...as the 'star' of the day, I was sabotaged. Lost and drank and Merlionzz..phewss. Lucky I was still sober and able to continue k-ing at Cineleisure until 4.45am!!!

Friday was my last day at work...and was a half day for me as well. Was really touched and surprised by Lala.. She made a PPT for me, showing picz of my wonderful days at work and happening moments with the rest. It brought me to tears... Really will miss you guys. You peeps are so sweet. =)

Wondering if my life at Select will be as fun as TLL.. Y(>.<)Y. Keep my fingers cross.

Hmm...Seems like I am only blogging once a week. Lolz.

Was a busy week. A lot of work piling up for the past 1 week. But well, I am taking it easy.

I am saying easy not slack. Hah.

5 more days to go and I will be leaving my beloved colleagues for a new workplace. Feel happy and sad for the change. Happy that I will be taking on a more challenging job scope but am sad and rather reluctant to leave my friends at the current workplace.

Thou is only 7-mth friendships with my team, I do feel bonded to them. Especially Melissa, Lala, Jac, Jeannie, Cat, Ah Hui...so many of them and of cuz will be missing the dearest mummies there. Enjoy every bitching and shopping moments with them...Oh and the outings were unforgettable. Lolz.

Glad to have so many happy moments together. Geez.

Hope that we can still continue meeting up for mani-pedi, shopping, ktv, clubbing, ... and chi-pong-hu after I leave the 'family'. v(^o^)v

Miss Universe 2007 on T, 29/05

Managed to catch 3/4 live telecast from Mexico on Tues at 9am. This year Miss Universe is so-so niahz. Of cuz the babes are pretty but no outstanding or special one. The event came to its peak during the evening gown competition. The young pretty Ms USA slipped and fell. Poor thing. I got a shock when I saw she fall. It just came too fast like a sweeping Tsunami. She picked herself up in split sec and still maintained her grace and smile. Applaud** But I think the Mexicans dont like her...cuz she was being booed during Q & A. Well, no worries Rachel..U have my support.

Miss USA, Rachel Renee Smith is from Tennessee. Let me present you, the vibrant spice of the decade.

I did not manage to finish watching the whole show. Missed the Q & A and coronation of Miss Universe 2007. Am really shocked and disappointed when the least expected got crowned Miss Universe 2007. My jaw dropped when my sis called to break the news that Miss Japan received the honor. She just doesnt have that X-factor. I thought she will only get the 4th or 5th place. Really a big DIAONZ.! Her cat walk was funny during the swim suit round. Very unnatural. Her every move and posture was stiff. What a disappointment.

Went to Causeway point (CWP) after work for a pic, Spiderman III, with Shan and Jo. We had a quick dinner at Yoshinoya and as usual checking out for better job opportunities. Ha Ha.. TS Video shop at CWP was having sales wor. And I bought xiao zhu and big S - 转角* 遇到爱 Dvd..Yoohoo.

Afterwhich the 3 of us went to take neoprint stickers. Haha..Kindda old for the 24s but was really fun when we tried to figure out the japanese instructions on how to decor the prints. **Waiting for jo to scan and upload the prints.

Here comes the spidy...The show that made our bodies and necks ached after 2hr plus movie, sitting in the 2nd front row of the cinema.

Finally gotten the picz from our dearest Melis. Thou is a very backdated post, I can still remember the fun we had on that very Thursday.

FYI, every Thursday is ladies' night at K-box. All ladies only need to pay for the first drink and you can sing from 7pm to close.

Mood: Tired ZzzZzz

My off day is wasted again!

Thanks to the whole night of mahjong yesterday. Not only did I lose $$ (ok lar..just a little loss) but had also made my body spent. The game ended at 6am and I dragged my feet to Mac to have breakfast with my kakis.

We promised to make it a quick one so we can go home to sleep. Well who knows my stupiaf sista made a sweeping remark on poly and uni grads which sparkled off a sizzling debate at Mac. So it went on and on...until around 8am in the morning before we headed home for bed. My poor doggie had suffered with us too (p.s he had a sleepless night due to our loud " Chi Pong Hu" and was reluctantly dragged to Mac and waited for the debate to end.)

So it goes my off day. SLept the whole of Sunday without feeling rejunvenated. Think my body cells will age faster if I continue with all these late night activites.

Mood:Angry and Pissed

I am so so so suey!!! Accepted a photo zip file from my cousin, cuz i am expecting it from her. And Damn...the file sent was actually some hacking device. Thought it was virus initially but the Avast is not doing much help and my MSN becomes kuku sometimes (I totally lose control of it and my cursor cant move). I know i am damned.

Last time my MSN also kena hacked. Then I was still able to communicate with the stupid hacker and vent my frustrations on him. Now, I am caught.My screen totally freeze. I can only see the MSN windows popping out in split second and my comp totally immobilised.

Idiotic hackers..these bunch of fools shld be castrated for good!! So free to do harm to the society huh..Curse you! U will sure tio Karma.

Arrgz..Now I am downloading ZoneAlarm to bar the hacker. Hope it works =(

Forced to go Orchard with my sis in the afternoon.

No mood for shopping today as I am trying to save up. Not for Nano or LV bag. But just feel like saving up.Is quite pathetic to have so little savings at this age.So restricted with the little $$ in the account.

Been to Coach Boutique. My eyes were struck by a $399 wallet. Have been wanting to change wallet since Jan but have not see any of my likings until now. Hmmm...Not very expensive but wld be a burnt hole in my pocket.

So 1 more item added to my 'To Buy' List. My list is getting longer and longer, the number of digits in my acc are getting smaller and smaller. This lead to my other thoughts --> to look for a better $$ rewarding job.. Ha Ha.

My last stop was at Kinokuniya. Chanced upon this book 'You can earn money through other people's money'. Lolz..what an interesting title. The book is written in old Chinese wordings. Had bought quite a few of such books before when I was in MLM company. (Is recommended to buy and is enriching).

And some books on MLM knowledge and leadership skills. Reading is never my cuppa tea. For novels, only read Dan Brown, Sidney Sheldon and John Grisham. Romance novel will definitely kill me. Haha.

Chalet @ DTE

Had a fun time at the chalet with my dearest colleagues from Wed 04/04 to Fri 06/04. We are really a bunch of 酒鬼 and 赌鬼. Haha..Muz really thanks Marcus for contributing to our funds.

It all started from Wed night - Melis,Jeannie,Jo and I checking in the Chalet. Drank, bitched, fed mosquitoes and kana disturbed from a group of chao ah bengz opp our unit the whole night. And Thur was a hot day. Me and Jeannie got even more "chao ta" from the afternoon sun at the pool.

The Chalet and BBQ was a Big Success.. and the credits go to...(Drum rollz ***):-

1) Franklin. He purposely made his way down to help us in getting the BBQ food.

2) Jo and Parents. For sponsoring the paper cups and plates. And of cuz the fresh Chicken wings and lunch at Changi T2.
3) Jeannie. For booking the Chalet.

4) Our dearest Mrs Ong (Melissa) is really gd at setting fire for the pit.Otherwise we gotta ate them raw.Lolz.
5) Not forgetting the presence of all the dearies - Marvyn,Marcus,Cheryl,Royston,La La,Chou,Jac,Yi Hui,Jer jer and Bf, Ling and Bf,Yen Ling and Ben,Candice,Cat and Gwen (who came on Wed to pay us a visit).

6) Of cuz Myself for playing a part to make it happened and blogging it down.

And the MVPs(Most Valuable Players) are the "Charlie's Angels" who initiated this. Haha.

What a fun and tiring 3 days 2 nights cruise with my family. Basically I slept only 5 hours for the 2 nights. Muz be the food that kept me awake. Lolz.

The food was not too fantastic compared to previous one. And time really flew for that 2 days...My itinerary was simply Casino-->KTV. Would have a few rounds of Tai Sai until late night before singing at the hall until 5am.

The most memorable part would be be handshake with the Taiwanese Singer, Huang An (过气歌手) , somewhat a popular singer during a very short period of time when I was in my primary years. Was accompanying my Aunt, with my sis and cousin to watch his 30min performance. Well, not that I was very excited to have a handshake with him, but was been selected to give him a token of appreciation after he sang on stage. Felt so suey and paiseh to walk all the way from the audience seat to the stage. If only he were Jay or some young handsome guy, I would be much more blessed. Haha.

Wanting to upload some photos for you guys but realised they are all in my sis and cousin's phone.

To think of going back to work tmr just bored me down. I can foresee a mountain of load waiting for me at my desk. Better get more sleep to recharge myself for the battle tmr. Ja^^

Went back to co. to 分猪肉 (delegate tasks) to my dearest colleagues before i leave for my wkend cruise trip. Thank you dearies..sorry to have burdened you all again (esp. Jac Jac).

Was about to leave for home when I decided to give my nails a new look. I am "ban dang kiaz", must paint my nails super bright and shiny to reflect away all the bad luck - gonna gamble my wkend away...lolz. Did my mani-and-pedi at Square 2: House of colours. Highly recommended to all ladies - reasonable price, skilled manicurists and good quality nail polish.

Ha ha...luckily I was in time for the promotion and gotten 4 nail arts free (2 for fingers,2 for toes). Gonna win big $$ this time.

That's not the end yet... I met up with this kind young lady manning an organic comestic and skin care booth along the link b/w Velocity and Novena Sq. and she recommended me to blend aloe vera and avocado into mask and apply it everyday to improve my skin condition. Well... no harm trying rites. =)

I was surprised when the lady approached me (btw her name is Carrie), but was really touched by her sincerity to help. She did not push me to buy any of her natural organic pdts but just shared with me of her past experiences with bad skin problems and how she had overcome it by using DIY aloe-avocado mask. Maybe some might see it as a form of marketing, but I think she did a good job by adding value to others and never ask for any returns. No hard sales. I will sure patronise with her after I come back from cruise.
